New York Comedy Club Open Mic Nights are the perfect place to try your material and hone your craft. Our club has a long history of incubating top talent, and we want to help you get started on your comedy journey. Here’s everything you need to know about our open mic nights.
When: Our open mic nights are every Tuesday and Wednesday, with sign-up starting at 6:30 pm sharp. The show begins at 7:00 pm. Where: New York Comedy Club East Village – 241 E 24th St, New York, NY 10010
How Much: There is a one-item minimum purchase per person in the showroom (e.g., a drink or food).
Rules: We ask that all comedians keep their sets under 5 minutes so everyone can perform. We also have a strict 2-drink minimum policy for all guests (comedians and audience members alike) throughout the club.
Sign up: Sign-up for the open mic is on a first-come, first-served basis – so make sure you arrive early! You can sign up by putting your name on the list at the club or online. We’ll call your name from the stage when it’s time for your set. Please be ready to go when we call you!
Format: Each comedian will have 3 minutes to do their set. We recommend bringing 1-2 jokes to try out during your time onstage.
